Set in the heart of the historic village of North Stifford, The Dog & Partridge is a traditional country pub with a modern spirit — where good food, quality drinks, and a real sense of community come together.

With roots dating back to the 19th century, our pub has long been a gathering place for locals, families, and travellers passing through. Under new management, we’ve brought fresh energy to the space while keeping hold of everything that makes it a proper local — from the characterful beams and roaring fireplace to the welcoming atmosphere and familiar faces behind the bar.

Inside, it’s cosy and full of charm — the kind of place you can settle into for a Sunday roast, a quiet pint, or a catch-up with friends. And when the sun’s shining, our large garden and covered patio out back really come into their own. It’s a favourite spot for live music, quiz nights, BBQs, and private celebrations, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

We’re proud to serve a menu full of comforting British classics, alongside a rotating selection of craft beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Sky Sports is on inside for the big games, and we’re always happy to welcome dogs both indoors and out — because we know they’re part of the family too.
